Empower Yourself Daily
  • ·         Your body loses water while you sleep, so you’re naturally dehydrated in the morning. It slows you down--so make it a habit of drinking up, one big glass first thing in the a.m. 
    ·         Define your "top 3" every morning, the most important tasks you'll complete that day. Prioritize those above everything. 
    ·         Solo-task and do more and faster by working in 50/10 increments. Use a timer to work for 50 minutes on only one important task, with 10-minute breaks in between. 
    ·         Regular movement keeps us healthy and alert. It boosts energy and mood and relieves stress. Get it out of the way first thing in the morning--and benefit all day. 
    ·         Gratitude begets happiness, so keep a gratitude journal. Every morning, write out at least five things you're thankful for. In times of stress, make it 10. 
    ·         Bring closure to your day through 10 minutes of reflection on what went well today, and how to do more of it.
