The Audacity of the Next Step: Why I’m Building Soulful

For years, I’ve used this space to process my life and the lives of others. I've achieved this one sentence, one "Audacity of Thought," and one brick at a time. I’ve written about the climbs and the falls, the heavy packs we carry as veterans, parents, professionals, any number of people living this very human experience and the beauty of the Colorado trails that have often been my sanctuary.

But lately, I’ve realized that the "Tool Bag" I’ve built for myself shouldn't just belong to me.

In Colorado Springs and around the nation, I see people every day who are in the middle of a climb they didn't ask for. I see parents wanting to leave a legacy but feeling like they’re losing the map. I see neighbors who need a safe space but don't know where to turn.

That’s why I’m officially announcing the birth of Soulful.

Soulful is a digital extension of everything we’ve talked about here. It’s a tool for voice-assisted journaling when life is too heavy for a keyboard. It’s a "Legacy Vault" where we can store our "Stones of Remembrance" for our children. It’s a direct bridge to the local resources—the literal lifelines—in our own backyard.

I’m moving from being a writer who documents the climb to a builder who wants to help you make it.

This blog will remain the heartbeat of the mission. You’ll see the "Founder’s Journal" entries here as I lay the digital bricks of this app. I’m doing this for my daughters, for my fellow veterans, and for anyone in the Springs, and the nation who has ever felt like they were climbing alone.

The summit is in sight. Let’s get to work.

Stay Soulful,

Tony
